Not A Spirit of Fear | Nick Russo

Anytime we draw back from fully obeying the Lord, it is likely because we have been intimidated by a spirit of fear, and thus, an enemy stronghold is allowed to remain. After finally being crowned king over all Israel, David recognized that in order to effectively unite and build his kingdom, he had to conquer Jerusalem. From his example, we can learn what it looks like to not back down from a spirit of fear, that we might pull down strongholds and build the kingdom of God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.
